Toasted Toad Cellars is a boutique winery located in Lodi, California that specializes in small lot production. The winery was started by the father-daughter team of Jeff and Laura from a shared passion for wines of both common and unusual varietals. Being located in Lodi gives them the chance to source a great many varietals ranging from the common Bordeaux varietals to Spanish and Portuguese varietals. They even do Pinotage, a South African varietal which is a cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. The tasting room is designed to create a fun and casual atmosphere inspired by Laura’s experiences growing up when she started picking grapes at age 7 and where wine was a part of the fond memories of times spent with family, friends, great food, good times and amazing wines. The goal at Toasted Toad Cellars is to welcome guests on a tasting adventure where they can expand their palates and wine knowledge while experiencing wines they can’t typically find in most wineries along with some familiar wines as well. Current production is approximately 1500 cases of 21 different wines including a series of single varietal Portuguese grape dessert wines.
